Why The Hyche Center

Be Warmly Supported

Parenting is not an easy job under the best of circumstances. It is even more challenging when you are parenting a child with special needs or a child who needs extra help to reach his or her developmental milestones. At The Hyche Center, we believe it takes a village to raise happy, healthy, thriving kids. That is why our team of pediatric occupational, physical, and speech therapists and board certified mental health counselors work tirelessly to support your child in achieving his or her goals.

See Change

As our team of therapists work to help your child reach their therapy goals, you will begin to see remarkable changes in your child's skills and abilities. More importantly, you will see the happiness and confidence this brings to your child, and the peace of mind this brings to your family.

Flourish

With the skills acquired in therapy, your child will be able to reach their potential. The skills learned will positively impact your child’s performance at school, home and in family or social settings. You will see your child at their best. Your child will flourish.

The Intake Process

When you call The Hyche Center, you will be warmly greeted by one of our highly trained Clinic Coordinators who will guide you through the intake process.  You will have the opportunity to discuss your concerns and learn all the ways in which we can provide services for your child.  The Clinic Coordinator will determine the next best step for your child. An appointment will be made for an evaluation with a therapist who best fits the needs of your child.  The Hyche Center has several different disciplines that are fully trained to determine the best treatment plan for your child. Additionally, our Clinic Coordinator will help you navigate the insurance and billing process, and answer any questions you may have about how to discuss the evaluation and treatment plan with your child.  The Clinic Coordinator is your personal liaison to your therapist and can answer any questions you may have during your time with us.  They will provide operational excellence and are focused on the needs of you and your child at all times.

Your First Appointment

The initial appointment will begin with a brief consultation with the treating therapist, which provides you an opportunity to express concerns and ask questions. Following this meeting, the therapist will begin the evaluation process, which includes standardized assessments and clinical observations of your child.  While it typically takes up to 2 sessions for the therapist to collect all of the information needed to develop a treatment plan for your child, your child’s therapist will make recommendations and begin treatment right away.  Upon completion of the evaluation, an appointment will be made to discuss the results and establish goals. The Family Child Advocate will set up ongoing appointments, as is recommended by your therapist.  Regular attendance and communication with parents and school will produce the best results!

After First Appointment

This is the easy part...now...you just watch your child flourish as they learn new skills and begin to flourish right before your very eyes!
