The Hyche Center opened in 2015 to provide Walker and surrounding counties with a comprehensive pediatric therapy clinic. At that time, there were no local pediatric clinics in or around Jasper with the exception of Birmingham. The Hyche Center remains the only comprehensive pediatric therapy clinic in Walker County, offering occupational, physical and speech therapy as well as counseling services.

Our goals are to assist each child in reaching their maximum potential, for them to be happy and healthy and to provide strategies and education to our families and community.

The Hyche Center for Sensory & Motor Learning is focused on providing high-quality, evidence based services. We specialize in the treatment of infants, children, and adolescents with a variety of congenital, developmental, neuromuscular, skeletal, or acquired disorders/diseases including developmental delay, Autism, Feeding Concerns, Sensory Processing Disorder and Social Emotional development.

Our office is located in Jasper, AL We provide services for children and their families from around the state. Currently we serve children in and around Walker, Fayette, Tuscaloosa, Marion, Cullman, Jefferson and Winston County. We provide services after school to accommodate children in school who are unable to check in or out for therapy and parents working outside the home.

Services at the Hyche Center are provided under a physician's order and are medically necessary. Services may be covered by your insurance or private pay services are available.
